We have someone else’s expensive gutters with lids, but had water in the basement and thought it was because of clogged gutters spilling over. Michael came out as promised, and climbed on the roof, squirted water hoses to test the gutters and determined they were working fine. Our water-in-the basement problem was NOT due to clogged gutters. He recommended a simple external cleaning of the existing gutter “lids” for better adhesion of rain water (called surface tension) and a basement water-proofing appraisal, or maybe just a sump pump fix, and then charged only $50.00 for his time and assessment. He was very polite and very helpful. I really was delighted with his unhurried friendly manner and his saving me a bundle for unneeded gutter cleaning.
